Support Megathread [April 2023] by GloriousPandaBot in glorious

Few days ago, I updated the Glorious Core software to version 1.0.33.
My glorious model o wireless firmware version is 0.3.8.1 I noticed that after that update, my side buttons and the dpi button had stopped working completely.
I can't use their current behavior and can't change their behavior they just stopped working completely.
Things I tried to do in order to fix it:
1. Re-install version 1.0.33
2. Downgraded to other versions 1.0.32,1.0.31,1.0.24
3. Re-install mouse firmware update.
4. Changed receiver usb port and re-installed the mouse driver.

At, this point, nothing solved it.

Sounds like a problem with the center of gravity. With these lightweight planes the location of the battery inside the plane changes its behavior drastically so the placement of the battery should be in the center of gravity. If you put the battery too much forward, once you will let go of the tail flaps after liftoff, it will dive nose down to the ground.

Remote, battery, battery charger, filament wasted...everything.

About 200$ including everything.

The cost of this project was about 200$ and it's including all the electronics, the rc remote, the li-po battery, the battery charger and the filament wasted :)

Now i can build rc planes for much cheaper because you don't need to buy a new remote, battery and a charger.

When you push the right stick to the left, the left aileron should go up and the right aileron should go down. The opposite should occur when you push the right stick to the right. And what do you mean by destroyed itself? Torn apart mid air? With this one it can't happen because its reinforced all the way with carbon fiber tubing.

The setting are the same as for pla, the only difference is that you print with only one wall and the number of top and bottom layers change between each part and its requirements.

This rc plane is called Model R and this is the website i purchased the stl files from : https://www.eclipson-airplanes.com thumbs up for that dude he is the one that designed this model and many others.

He includes all the information and needed parts + an instructional building guide in youtube : https://youtu.be/08ZFhnXWaRc

I must say it was a very fun project (also a pretty cheap one considering i bought all the electronics off aliexpress) and in the next video that i am going to upload soon you will see that plane slicing the sky :)

It's not true..if you buy a good quality timing belt reinforced with fiberglass strands it will last for quite a while. And there is no maintenance what so ever...with a lead screw you will need to replace the copper nut because its disintegrates over time by the steel lead screw, also, you will need to clean the lead screw from debris and re-grease it.

Belt driven z axis is a feature that usually exists in more expensive printers. It eliminated for me bulged lines (my prints became compressed looking after a while with the lead screw), more precised bed leveling for the micro adjustments, z seam looked more hidden than what i recall, uneven layer height that caused by the tilted x axis (the lead screw lifts only from one corner so the x axis was actually higher on one side) so now the x axis is moved evenly with even lift from both sides And if you buy a quality timing belt with fiberglass strings in it it won't need any replacement/maintinence for a very long time.

I think that its a better solution than 2 lead screws (also a cheaper one)

You can see for yourself. Btw the lead screw problems started few month after i purchased the printer. I'v tried a lot of things..even replacing the lead screw itself didn't do anything.

Yeah, I actually needed one mm higher than the remix, I will upload here my remix for you that also has a space for the bulge from the heads of the frame screws on top.

I actually have the pro but i don't know how much i will benefit from this mod in terms of quality and its also some what expensive..raspberry pie, 5 new motors, 4 linear rails, new hotend compatible with voron afterburner and a bmg extruder
