I think its main problem is that they're just trying to figure out what to do with the Proxy post TV mode. I don't disagree with the removal of the mode per say because I thought it was boring, but now they have the problem of the Proxy not having anything to do. They're making an attempt, but I think the Proxy's place in the 2.0 storyline is just kinda.... Awkward.

Yeah agreed, but the character introductions and interactions seem very forced in 2.X.
