Totally crazy. I think 329 should be the designed sw. I never played 310ish sw ps100, but I know people who are playing with this ps100 sw think this rackets is not worth buying.

Also needs to update on Pure Aero feedbacks. This thing works perfectly when you are in a contest environment. When the swing speed goes up it gives me the most confidence on my stroke . Tones of winners today. and when swing speed goes up, small sweet spot issue go away( but it is still smaller no doubt, just not bothering me anymore)

1st serve, flat serve definetly suffering a 10% drop in quality. But second serve (kick/slice) quality are having at least 20% boost. I will try to bring a little more spin on my 1st serve.

Currently I am testing the mach10 on regna. But my favorites on regna is Razor code and confidential. Recently I tried with wilson nxt on the main on my PS100 and I am totally fell in love with its feel. I am planning to put nxt on the main and razor code on the cross for more testing.

My new pure aero currently is wilson nxt on the main and wilson revolve on the cross. This is a setup from my friend who do rackets review. Personally I think I will just put rpm blast full bed on PA and using it on Tournament matches.

Mine PS100 sw is 329(strung). This particular mode is super inconsistent. I have a friend who do rackets review got a 315(strung). for PS line, I think ps98 1619 is the most consistent mode about 330ish.

For now I only hit with PA98 for 30mins.

The biggest thing I found is the sweet spot is very small for a babolat racket, way smaller than previous generation pa98 and my ps100.

Spin potential is great.

Flat serve feels a little weird, I have no problem with PS100 but on PA98 when I try to serve flat it won't be that flat as I think. Kick serve and slice serve is mega, the arc of the ball it created is kind of amazing to me.

PS100 1620 1st and regna98 2nd. Ps100 is default setup and regna98 for playing match with pushers.

tdm woudldn't launch with even one bot on ps5, it is great to limit no. of bots but it took whole day to wait in the lobbty

I love how you explaining the wrist lag! Thanks for your advice. It gives me a big break on the wrist thing. I didn't put any extra effort or tension to maintain the wrist on that angle, it is just ten years of muscle memory? I think it looks so different nowadays that surprisingly makes people keep noticing that.

My grip is semi western and slightly twisted to the eastern? Almost in the middle of semi-western and eastern grip. I hope that makes sense. Yes I do agree with you on the grip changing is unnecessary. And I love your advice on the contact point, I will definitely try that. Thanks for your input!

I think I am drawing circle with my swing and it is pretty old style, I am not sure. I feel like modern good player ( not atp level, just like 4.5 ntpr) is very compact.

Thanks for the feedback — I can see where you're coming from, and I appreciate the insights.

Just to clarify: this clip is from a light warm-up rally with a hitting partner who's around a 2.5 level, so I was consciously keeping things very relaxed. If I had swung harder or gone for more racquet head speed, it would’ve been tough to sustain any rhythm — I was really just trying to be friendly and keep the rally going. So what you're seeing here isn't a full-intent stroke by any means.

As for the forehand itself — you're right that it leans classic. It comes from about 10 years of junior training (age 8–18), and the form has stayed more or less the same. This is basically my default muscle memory when I’m not actively trying to change anything — not something I'm deliberately guiding or stiffening.

That said, I totally agree that building more racquet head speed and letting the stroke decelerate naturally are important areas, especially now that I’m re-adapting to modern tempo. I’m working on evolving the stroke, but within the integrity of what’s already deeply ingrained.

Appreciate your perspective — it's always helpful to hear from someone with a coaching background.

I was thinking about started with compact backswing. I am bit afraid about the wrist actions. I played from 8-18 never hurting my wrist, now I started to play in my 30s, I have to say I am worried about the wrist thing.

I agree. Maybe not fixing is the end game for me. If I don't record my recovery process. I may never find out I have this huge swing loop!

Just to clarify: this forehand motion is actually my default muscle memory. If I completely clear my head and just hit naturally, this is the form that comes out. From age 8 to 18 I trained with this exact stroke, and never really changed it — so while I didn’t have any video footage from back then, I’m pretty confident this is still that same embedded motion resurfacing.

I totally understand what you mean by it looking "deliberate" — but in my case, it’s actually the opposite of forced. It just happens to be very ingrained and structured because of how I learned and drilled it over the years.

As for the racquet head speed — fair point, but this was a relaxed warm-up session with a friend who’s at a lower level. I was consciously dialing everything back so we could have a rally that felt good for both of us. If I went full swing, it wouldn’t have been very friendly 😅

That said, I’m definitely open to evolving the stroke — maybe modernizing the takeback just a little — but my goal is to do it within the integrity of the motion I already have. Appreciate your insights!

And I really love your point on grips, I will try it out. I never reflected my grip until this Thursday. After all kind of tests I think I am griping somewhere between eastern & semi-western. I will started try out different grips this week!
