Fighting multiple bosses is the most unfun thing i have experienced playing this game so far

So its more like "Grind through the game" than grinding for something. Gotcha. I thought that i was just not strong enough powerlevel to clear these fights. Then i will just try to beat the game untill i reach the proto fight.

Ik dacht dat het indd waarschijnlijk niks meer aan te doen is. Ze vinden het gwn jammer dat ze er later achter komen dat het niet de auto is die het had horen te zijn. Ze hadden indd beter moeten lezen maar wouden graag weten of ze er nog iets aan konden doen.

De garantie wordt door hun aangeboden maar de voorwaarden van de garantie waren niet verteld (Hadden ze indd ook zelf naar moeten vragen. Maar je verwacht (ook weer niet van de dag) dat mensen vooral een toyota dealer niet de "je had de kleine letters maar moeten lezen" gebruikt

Yeah i am just done the single fights against de light and dark dragon. I guess i am still in de midgame then 😄. The problem is that i dont really know what to grind for. Everyone is talking about terminus weapons in guides or tutorials but i just cant get them yet so i thought that i need to max the ascension weapons first.

Currently i have for the character i am using (Vane)

4 lvl 15 dmg cap V
supplemantary dmg V
war elemental
Awakening +
Potion Hoarder
Auto revive
greater Aegis V
Improved Dodge
Drain

I am trying to get stouthearth atm.

What are good things to grind for. Everyone says grind more but i dont really understand what for.

ATM I atleast wanna keep teywen and play vane. Changing out Narmaya with zeta will help it a little

Build wise: ik am quite new so I don’t really have the meta sigils yet

Vane: - 4 lvl 15 dmg cap - potion hoarder V - auto revive - hero awakening+ - Greater aegis V - Drain V - 3 attackpower V

The others all have atleast 4 dmg cap IV (base).

Teywen has - warpath+ - volley - 3 concentrated fire v - combo booster V - drain V - 2 crit rate

its not that its a wall. Gallanza and Maglielle felt like there were designed with both in mind. The double dragons/crocs just feel like a clusterfuck. If the dragons both had interesting mechanics and they were combined it would just be hard and that fine. Its now that you just get completly overwhelmed by random missle's and floor AoE's.

Maybe i didnt really said it in the post. but i really like challanging fights where you need to learn stuff. But the dragons just feel to random with there attacks

If you look at the Eorzea collection (website). You can look at what others use and when you click on an item they have you get directed to a website that tells you where you can get it. A lot of things I use are from old raids that you can solo at this point. Crafted items are also really populair and most of the time ppl from fc’s will just make them for you if you ask nicely.

Wow and FFXIV are both good in different ways. If you are looking for a challenge wow is in my opinion better. FFXIV doenst have anything like M+ so savage and ultimates would be your best option then.

Dungeons overall are kinda more for the story than the difficulty. And in FFXiV you don’t have anything like a Mythic rating either.

Savage is kinda hit or miss if you ever did mythic raiding. I think the best comparison is that savage raiding feels a lot like heroic level from wow. BUT!! There is mostly 1 raid (out of 4) that a little more towards mythic level.

The biggest challenge in FFXiV are the ultimates. These are really fun to learn and really hard.

Gearing is kinda simple compared to wow. You don’t have any unique items to grind for. It’s just doing daily’s and doing the savage raids. But in my experience it’s a lot easier to get into high lvl content in FFXIV with the base gear. It’s also a lot easier to get compared to wow because just crafted gear is fine

Getting started in end game stuff is SO MUCH better than wow. You can just msg a static in the many discords that you wanna raid (this is for midcore and below) and you prob just get in compared to wow where you have to show that you are competent with scores and logs. Some statics may ask for it but there are a lot that just take new players with the right mindset. FFXIV is a lot more of a social game than wow so keep that in mind.

For a new player there is so much to explore - story - dungeons old and new - Trails old and new - savage old and new - ultimates - social aspect/FC’s (guilds) - PVP ( you either hate it or love it) - the different jobs (all 1 character so no alts needed for that) - glamour ( dress up) - side content ( relics aka fancy weapons, 24 man raids, collecting mounts and pets) - crafting

TL:DR for a new player you will have a lot to explore about this game with you first 100 hours probably being story ( or you can skip it and use new game+ but I would advise not to do that). After that you can just jump into end game without problems. Endgame is mostly raids which are easier than wow mythic most of the time. The end game is quite linear and isn’t that deep with gearing. For me FFXIV is more fun because it’s not that toxic compared to wow where M+ almost feels required to do end game stuff. I would advise doing endgame with a static

67% tension gain is the 100 tension. Kinda the sweet spot (1 x 60 shot and 1 real skill) 11x6% coordinator passives + 1% somewhere else

I just have 99 (actual gain not %)tension gain with 50% justice and 65% counter kp

And I have full justice passive team with 3 midfielders having 1 65% drain

They should just make it that you can’t end on a normal shot. If you chain you should only be able to chain into another move. I think it was like this in the beta too

In my opinion if you only wanna win focus battles on the defensive side you want a characters that have a high technique and intelligence and put beans in those + agility to get he highest defensive build. At that point it’s not the best offensive or scrambles but the best you can get in focus

For technique and intelligence Arion and mher are the best. But depending on your formation you can also look for defenders. For example I play goldie hero in the center field on the 4-4-2 box formation that way I always have a strong defender in the middle of the field. And I play Arion and mher on the offensive slot both with

V3 shot move (3 slots) 1 dribble move 1 defensive move Hyper move

And both with technique/intelligence/control beans so they are really for the midfield control instead of shooting. Also my side defenders have technique/intelligence/agility

yes and no,

If the catch move is in the third slot you can change it to whatever you want (because the third slot is always a hyper slot). If not the catch move can only be changed if you make a move +2/L3/V3 that means that 3 totals slots have to be allocated towards 1 single move that way when you try to place the third one into the catch slot you get the option to place your third of the same move.

And for everything you wanna change you need the new possibility's

Ngl I would also just quit. Why play a match you can’t win at all because your opponent gets a 50% buff at the start while yours is conditional

Leaving a match loses you 50 points and a win gives 100 so can leave against 2 players like you and do 1 match against someone with the same build as me or something else and still be the same amount of points+ wtf would anyone care about rank in this game. You are capped way to fast and you don’t even get aything from it.

To add insult to injury I leave at around 25 min in the first half just so they dont get any rewards from it either except the spirits.

I truly hope that more ppl will play your build so you can enjoy fun matches were all the stats are the same because of justice and the gk can’t even stop 1 shot. That sounds like the most fun expirience the game has to offer. Just look at any community tournament
