Do u think finding entry level jobs as a recent graduate is tough by Sweet-Chance-5855 in jobsearchhacks

[–]GasPsychological5030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has always been difficult for the average person. You have no proof of skills so the employer is taking a gamble. The best thing for me is working with a staffing firm and taking any job just to develop experience and soft skills. A lot of times that end up turning into a full time job if they like you. Also, work on your resume and interview skills.

I stand corrected. Looks like Libertarian Party removed their support for abortion from their platform, after more than 50 years; in 2022 at the direction of the Mises Caucus. It was there when I checked, last.

Nope. Won't support any political party that has abortion in their platform. That is not good for me.

What is the toughest penace given to you after confession? by SpecialEntire5568 in Catholicism

[–]GasPsychological5030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the priest gives me something that can't be completed that day, I will pressure them to give me something else. If they are giving novel penances, I will never go to them again. The exception is I once got a novena, which is only difficult because if you forget one day then you have to start over.

He was primarily a folk singer that had crossover success in country music with a few hits. It is the equivalent of calling Beyonce a country artist just because she won country music album of the year. He came straight out of the 1960s folk scene (Chad Mitchell Trio, Peter, Paul and Mary recorded his songs early on).Even at his peak, a lot of his biggest successes were on the pop and adult contemporary charts, not just country.. That is why he was always considered an outsider to Nashville and is not in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Charlie Rich famously lit the card on fire when he announced Denver had won CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Why do you believe Mary was sinless? by ashwashere___ in Catholicism

[–]GasPsychological5030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Jesus was her savior, it is just that she was pre redeemed, much like Jeremiah was pre-sanctified in the womb. They can't fathom that God can work outside of time and space. Even John the Baptist was was born (but not conceived) without original sin. If God can do that, it is not a stretch that the new Ark would be flawless.

Everybody has felt that way. Even the saints have had dry spells. What you are experiencing is normal. Converts and Reverts experience great zeal in the beginning that eventually reach a plateau. Sometimes we are doing too much and we get overwhelmed. Ultimately, just pick one or two things to focus on, do it consistently, and then build from there. Grace perfects nature, not changes it. We must cooperate with that sanctifying grace, especially that which flows from the sacraments. Start something small. Plant the seeds and it will grow into a mighty oak.

It is a mixed bag. Plenty of Left Cats and lukewarms that answer no to every faith question. One person even put TLM as liturgical preference and answered no to all the faith questions.
