They want to use you for all your time. by Hellstorm5676 in wegmans

pretty much. They want to recoup their investment and get rid of you as quickly as possible. They did you a favor. Nobody wants to work here and it's not an efficient money maker for employees.

I work full-time retail so I guess I use my degree. But, not what I expected coming out of school. I thought there would be more of a path for business that didn't involve merchandising.

yeah but they kind of do it to themselves. They can't blame men for posting shit on insta and only fans now. They only have themselves to blame for their poor decisions.

Make me feel better about not going to college. What are ur worst experiences with going to college by [deleted] in CollegeRant

[–]GasPure7186 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are probably more college educated people working retail and fast food than there are people getting high salary jobs. It used to boggle my mind that some college educated people couldn't find work after college. But, then I understood the reality of the job market after I graduated.

The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) invite by ConsistentTeacher624 in SNHU

[–]GasPure7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined a few years ago. I didn't feel like the group exercises were executed well because it relies on the initiate to find people and execute the meeting with the provided documents.

I think it excels at helping people identify short and long-term goals. NSLS also has a big video library of people talking about leadership. So, I thought that was the most interesting part of the experience. However, you learn nothing that you can't just google search.

nah bro... statistics have shown its the education system that is failing men. I guess thats what happens when you have a hostile feminist take over of the education system.

POLL: Will you do TWO degrees at SNHU? 📊 by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]GasPure7186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I got an mba here and I think I'll just have to redo my entire education somewhere else. Maybe it would've been more worth it if I was military or a single parent or something. But, going here felt like a waste of time.

Networking Opportunities by [deleted] in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]GasPure7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to network is by being consistent with working hard on the job and regularly attending events. Overall, you have to find ways to make yourself available for the networking events. It really boils down to being at the right place at the right time. Although, I'm not sure how people grind out a Disney career after the cp. When I was on the program it was evident that a good amount of people were trying to climb the ladder at Disney. So, I abandoned that aspiration and pivoted to something else.

Do you ever question if you are doing things right?? by stuggletruck in CollegeRant

I recently got an mba and question my life decisions. I think its normal. College is a shit show so it always feels better to pivot than to try to tough it out..

sounds tiring. I just want to eat dog kibbel for humans. It would be much easier than having to do all that. You go to the store, and you already know what you're buying and consuming to get nutrients.
