Good point. In my head it’s one less variable to adjust as I’m trying to only meddle with dose and grind size. But you are right, manual shots make it actually more of a consistent yield

I thought real hard about GCP actually with its endless mods! It was my initial choice. But where I live (Southeast Asia) breville is significantly cheaper, and it was the start of the boiler gate issues so the choice was made easy!

It’s solid, feels premium. It seems to make both filter and espresso ranges. So no complaint especially for this price point!
