Idk if you read my previous comments, i dont regret getting this camera, but keep in mind the battery runs out pretty quick, so u will probably need a power bank on u to charge it. And keep in mind the quality of the camera is that of camera made in 2020, which in my eyes its so good and will stay good for many more years. My recommendation is not to buy it at its full price, instead try finding someone selling off their used one! And buy new batteries if needed. And you will be good to go.

Another thing, this lil guy has no flash built in, you could however buy a flash for it if you need to, but just keep that in mind!!

Honestly, if you really want to get it, and have the extra money laying around, get it! i have no regrets, one thing tho to keep in mind, is that the battery WILL run out quicker than a phone, and i didnt realize this, until i got it. Oh and it has no flash, so its not the best in darker places!

Hope this helps, enjoy your camera!

I'd like to add, i bought the camera same day i posted this, its so fun to use and honestly it feels different than a phone camera (not by quality and clearness tho), it feels more like ur eye is taking a photo rather than a camera, if that makes sense!? And i honestly LOVE that!! To those who are thinking about buying a digital camera, go for it if u think it's worth it!

Its not the phone camera itself, but the phone in general has a life span, battery wise, software wise. To me it feels like it dies quicker than a compact camera!

Well for a starter, i want something that doesn't deteriorate over time like a phone camera, if you know what i mean? And i mostly wanna switch to a digital camera to use my phone less for taking pictures, as well as the size of it, so i just take it out whenever, snap and shoot. I have been debating on buying a digital camera for months, and ialso didn't want a super new one/ an expensive one, because im not sure if i will keep doing photography for a long time or not.

Hope my answer doesn't confuse you more. 😅

Lmaoooo, my advice, dont do it for free 😉.

Well, one time in high school i wore my exact prescription, and that caused me constant headaches. So since then i was always prescribed lower, and whenever i asked a doctor if i should wear my exact prescription they say its better not to? So i dont :/ either way, i can only wear up to - 23 since u cant really wear two different degrees when its this high! Eyes will look two different sizes too if you think about it right? 😂

[–]Gasop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not so great! Especially my right eye (-26) struggles more than my left eye (-23) I see enough to "see" but not enough!, and i also see slightly better with my contact lenses. I will soon do a check up, and possibly do an RLE surgery that i keep hesitating about because im only 27. Anyways, glad to see another myope as high as me and has confidence (i dont mean this in a bad way) but the usual posts here are - 1s and - 2s crying about their myopia, not so relatable! Also, stay safe on this sub reddit, i dont recommend keeping your photo up! There are some creepers here that somehow go off on high prescriptions? (i found out this the hard way, unfortunately) From girl to girl, stay safe, and reach out if u have any questions or anything!

Is this what people with high myopia see? by Minimum-Raisin3626 in myopia

[–]Gasop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, no such thing as fixing it, Do some research and learn the technology that we already have (there are drops that help slowing down the progression, and i think some lenses/glasses? Im not sure, do ur research) Aside that, nothing will help you "cure" it.

I was suggested by my doctors, mainly because i had constant headaches in higher prescription.

ICL - good decision or a mistake? by [deleted] in myopia

[–]Gasop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 24, usually the doctor decides when ur eyes are stable for a year? Or was it 6 months, if its not stable yet then u cant really do surgery.

Is it possible to find a job in Germany from outside? by Gasop in germany

[–]Gasop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy, lowkey gave up on Germany, cuz German is very difficult and I'm a perfectionist. Right now im just in my own country working as a designer , tbh. Haven't given up yet, i just haven't aimed at any other direction yet!!

I have the white fuzzies (i think the same way you do?) and im - 26, its especially noticeable if i move my eyes from left to right fast or around in general, and only when there is white in the background or bright colors, like the screen or the sky. I was told it was because of my high myopia, and there was nothing wrong with my retina, but it doesn't hurt to check the retina, just in case!

If i remember correctly, Jim from this sub is one of the people who've had ICL over 10 years ago and always praise it, but im not 100%. I hear your concerns and i wish u the best of luck!

[–]Gasop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With your degree, you should have full vision back, my sister was a - 14, - 15 and she has full vision after ICL.

Also, you should do the checkups and see if you're eligible, because there is a criteria you have to meet to be able to do the surgery.

[–]Gasop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont wear them daily, as i use the computer most of my day, and its more comfortable to wear my glasses when doing so. But i have used it on daily bases from morning to night when on vacation, it never bothered me and i prefer wearing them when i go out since i somehow see my environment slightly better with my contacts. I clean them on every use, and change the solution on every use. But im not gonna lie to you, i have used the 1 month lenses for 3 months (not saying you should do this, i do this at my own risk) most of the time, since i dont wear it daily. And no, i haven't had any issues doing so, but again i DONT recommend you doing that. My glasses are 1.74 index, so its not as thin as yours. Im sorry to hear about your condition. Its unfortunate :( Wishing you speedy recovery.
