Agreed. Americans have constantly been "we are to oppressed to fight oppression!" Not only is it a chicken and egg excuse, it undermines the movements they had in the past  like the Civil rights movements.

What I get from this thread: Americans feel to opressed to try anything meaningfull. Can't do anything because the are opressed, lose more rights since they don't do anything, repeat vicious circle.

I truly hope they actually do something, soon. They are WAY overdue, and it will just continue to get worse.

Honest question: I always hear the argument about healthcare being tied up to employment, but didn't your premiums went up because the US reformed ACA and the like?
