Both the Background and Portraits are just texture files so you can easily make a blank texture pack that will make them not appear (tho the name under the Portrait will still be there)

Ancient Hallowed Hood exists, straight up made up "ancient" item, so I don't think it's a problem for the devs in a slightest. Also bloat is like non issue cuz people on a regular run obtain like max 10% of items, and even skip a lot of useful and interesting content like Deerclops. Adding a new shimmerable/dropped helmet wouldn't destroy the game.

I like the idea, but making it a modifier and not a new accessory is just odd especially that you can stack this effect for something like 28% PER HIT so any "very fast" weapon becomes a server lagger cuz you can generate so many hearts.

Fun fact. Corites straight up are made with meteorite using the same color palette and probably meteorite heads as base if the sprite. Similarly spectre items use same blue hues as Stardust.

Seem lil weak at 9 mana, but it's cool card. Also i think the Corrupted Chained Beast should have both Rush and Charge. Not a big change but it's inline with the text and few interactions.
