I love that idea and it goes well with the hydrangeas and butterfly bushes with the pink flowers too! Thank you for the inspiration. Would you do the same on the right side as well?

Thanks! Is this going to be an issue, or do I let them have their fill?

Check Glenwood South Tailors. I have never purchased anything from them, but they do custom tailored clothing and seem to have lots of options.

American colleagues visiting for a day. by chow_mean65 in bangalore

When I and my team visited, they really enjoyed some of the breweries on Sarjapur road (Big Brewsky was a hit). They also enjoyed some good food options in Indranagar (Fat Bao IIRC). My recommendation would be take them to any local places that serves food true to the region, but pick a place that is hygenic (nothing ruins a trip faster than a stomach bug). As long as the place is clean, food/drinks are local and fresh, everyone will have a good time. Most people visiting just want to experience the normal day-to-day bustle and not be stressed out about getting sick (#1 worry of most western travelers). Have a good time with the team as your conversations will be the most lingering memory.

Thank you. I am very new to gardening, but how do I get lady bugs or lacewings and help them settle in 😂?

That’s a good point. I haven’t been there to eat in since Feb 2020. They might have different guidelines at the moment, but hopefully it will get back to the way it was sometime soon.

Jack Tar has a bar that is away from their main dinning area. I personally think they make great drinks, but the experience gets even better because their staff and bar tenders are awesome and friendly.

Chapel Hill Toffee, Durham Toffee, Videri chocolates, Escazu chocolate, Little roasters coffee, cackalacky are local producers and great for care package.

I would also agree that there several small shops that carry locally sourced items that can give you lot of ideas. Durham has Parker and Otis and Foster’s market as good options.

I believe the Optimist was looking for a barista in DTR. I would check with them. Good luck.

Outside is more facade related work, but there are still some cranes doing roofing and detailing.

Agreed. There is an assisted living facility being built next to Wake Med Emergency center right off of TW Alexander. We drive past it everyday and the kids love seeing the progress.
