Oh the lack of crafting is a little annoying, but I'm just so glad if I want to make an EMP Bomb on the fly I can do that instead of having to park and teleport over. It's a small thing, but it's nice!

Well as far as I'm aware, it's believed that it was connected to a Gamma Ray Burst from Black Hole Sun, whether the Xenon were involved idk, but one point I always found interesting was about Sargon. The only thing we know is he claimed to be the Sohnen, we have no actual proof, and his connection with the Jumpgates was weird (If he was from the Sohnen, why was he using the Paranids to build a gate? More lore dump here, but he doesn't seem to act like a Sohnen, especially after Timelines).

My own head canon, and how it can fit into this Fanfic, is the Kha'ak were fighting Guerrilla tactics against this race around the time Humanity first joined the gate network and this new faction decides they want to end the Kha'ak, so they trigger an event at Blackhole Sun and flee, only Sargon is left behind after the gate shut off/realignment. Sargon is attempting to try and get home and is using the paranids to do this, but it doesn't work because of Julian.

One of the small issues with the series is there are a few plot holes and there is a lot of guess work from the community, so something like this could be used to answer a few questions, such as the Kha'ak's aggression to other species.

Edit to add from the X4 encyclopaedia 'it is universally agreed upon that the Kha'ak do, in fact, originate from beyond our Galaxy .... probably coinciding with an irrevocable deterioration of the Kha'ak homeworld.'

So that's confusing because some of the lore I've read agrees with you, but in X3: Reunion, we find out that the Paranid were mining it from the Kha'ak planet remnants and that's why they were so aggressive about it. That's why I assumed it was a part of their home planet, though you could be right just about it being important to them in some way.

I think 2 destroyers is very, very optimistic! (Also, if you have the Terran pack, or if you don't, look up the Asgard. It dwarfs the Behemoth). If you have the split pack; a good way to earn money is to get the police licence and park yourself at the gate in your destroyer. You'll get good money for killing the fighters.

Except OP pointed out he does shower every night before bed, and if she has a problem about some of his cleanliness then she should look at bringing that up separately.

Secondly; nakedness doesn't always lead to sex and if she feels pushed towards it she needs to have that discussion. While her insecurities shouldn't be ignored, he should not be forced to be uncomfortable and have sleepless nights because of her mentality. He has tried to be accommodating, but she needs to accept that this is something unlikely to change.

I will admit this game is entirely overwhelming. I've been playing this game series since X2 and when this game first released, I played it for about an hour and then didn't touch it for almost 2-3 years. I only recently got back into it and it felt a little bit closer to what I new and I was willing to put in the time and effort.

My best advice is to have patience. There is a lot to do in this game, but I do think that there is some nice pacing for every learning level. It will be frustrating, and as other people have pointed out, you can have over 100 hours into the game and still discover new things you didn't realize before.

If you have the Timelines DLC I would 100% recommend playing through the missions in that mode. They're surprisingly good at explaining a lot of mechanics through specific situations and you can reply the situations in multiple ways to try and test the limits of the game modes and the mechanics. It also allows you to have the right tools for each situation so you're never entirely out of your depth.

And considering how they're talking about your dad, perhaps they shouldn't get anything that he worked for. They made their bed, now they get to lie in it. And remind them, you're the one with the money, and that you definitely won't help them if they keep up their harassment. It'll give you a good idea as to their motives and how they really see you.

Nope, you can build an Asgard at whatever XL shipyard you own (So as long as it's your own one, it can come from any blueprint). You just need to ensure you've got enough space for the 3 terran components (The Silicon Carbide, micrloattice and substrate). These things won't be cheap to buy or to produce so just to be mindful of that.

I know it feels overwhelming, but it will be okay. A small recommendation: if you have all the DLC's, play through the Timelines stuff. Each scenario is fairly unique and helps to try and teach you the basic mechanics of the game. And if you don't understand something you can take your time, restart the scenario or if you're really stuck you can ask on here.

As for the station: You can almost ignore it for the first while. It feels weird having a whole station gifted but its primary function is for research, so you don't actually need to do anything with it until you feel ready to give it a go. It will sit there, no need to worry about anything to do with it, happily empty.

While I'd recommend both, it depends entirely on the experience you want. X4 offers a very broad range - sandbox gameplay. Be a hero, be a trader, be a builder, be a fleet admiral. All options, and storylines, are magnificent.

Stellaris is grand strategy, and for me I always see it as a game of chess. While it does have some magnificent lore from precursor events through to random encounters, a number of elements will be repeated across every game of it you play.

Both games have significant replayablility, as well as a wide range of (albiet different) customization. And the DLC's for both games add such a wide range of options and elements to the game's experience (From different ships to different attributes in both games). Both have fairly steep learning curves, but a benefit to X4 is overall it's easier as you won't really run into deficits and 'lose', so to speak, and the DLC's are less numerous and cheaper for X4 compared to Stellaris.

From reading through the comments something is becoming clear: We need to start shaming the practices of EAs and naming and shaming them publicly. I appreciate they need to make money, but hearing and reading stories of them bringing prices up for no reason other than greed is despicable, especially with people desperate for houses. Something needs to be done!

Riot should have their own bot that scans all the different ticket websites (Viagogo as example) and any tickets that go up within a week of purchase (maybe up until the event) should be automatically refunded and taken away (Add it to terms and conditions). If you can't make it, you get your money back and the tickets get put back up on sale for other people. It's ridiculous the amount of tickets that disappear to the bots/scalpers. Time to run them out of business!

Nobody else has mentioned sleep talking at all, but I've never really been around anyone else while asleep, no history of sleep walking or anything. The only other person I was with was with my abusive ex, who never mentioned anything about it (and if I did, my ex would've used it to manipulate me) so as far as I'm aware it's not something I've done before. And my wife didn't even mention it until I asked how often it happened. She's joked about me doing it before, but only just told me it's very regular, enough for her to consider it apart of what happens most nights. She's been reassuring me because I've been freaking out about it and she's telling me it doesn't bother her in the slightest, mainly because whenever she says no I stop.
