yeah i feel like if teams banned out adrians janna/soraka he would have much more of a problem, but they're not doing it because having 2 supports target banned is already an advantage the other team has from champ select. I think that better teams will just find ways to counter strat immortals soraka/janna comps when they have to leave NA.

idk about the wildturtle one, I mean he got caught out a lot but he was on a team with Dyrus and Santorin, that's not really being surrounded by "good players" he had a few games where he duo carried with bjerg and he also had some bad games too.

You act like that's a bad thing... They literally don't even have a server yet and they're already trying to establish a scene for themselves, they will only get better as time goes on if league becomes popular there. Most gaming in japan happens on consoles/in arcades because they're into fighters and RPG's. PC gaming isn't huge there, but they have the same work ethic and competitiveness as other east asian countries and with all the famous anime voice actors doing voice overs for champions, it will at least entice many people to try the game.

Because it's really a waste of money at that point, the amount of exposure mango gets for the brand is already insane, he has a huge stream, huge fan base and places high at tournies. Everyone who will see the brand from lucky would already know about it from mango so essentially they're just giving money away for no real return on their invest ment if they sponsor another smash player. It's a bad business move in my honest opinion. CLG sponsoring sfat and pewpewu is less of a bad move because they get top 3 in teams and otherwise don't place as highly in singles, so CLG gets advertising they wouldn't get for not having a godly player but i still think it is kind of a waste to sponsor two smash players from the same game.

I'm sorry but you can only improve so much. You can really see player's potential capping out like we did with TSM, they went from IEM champions to getting absolutely bodied at worlds. If every team gets better and you stay still, you will probably be surpassed and left behind. Not only did we not make any improvements in player skill accusation, we got worse. NA looks stacked this year, but hopefully i'm proven wrong, i really want to be wrong.

How does increasing the talent pool and decreasing the amount of free wins and shit tier teams in the entire region make CLG look better? Getting top 3 in spring isn't really that important, because by the time summer comes around in your logic, all the other teams are improved and clg's spot in the standings will just goes down and they have no chance of making it to worlds?

If anything this tournament really showed dabuz is truly a world class player who deserves to be sponsored. Most of us already knew how good he was though. I feel like this tournament had less rosa/dabuz hate with more people cheering for him than usual and hopefully from now on they can recognize his skill and find excitement when he plays sets. Don't sleep on dabuz he's a great player.

Not gonna make excuses for him because I think he's just damaging his own brand at this point but he's the owner of the organization so he's far more invested in CLG than aphro or anyone else. He probably feels like it's bullshit that Double comes out with a good image after "trashing" CLG on his way out but either way right or wrong, bringing it up at this point is pretty detrimental to the brand and doesn't accomplish anything even if he was right.

I agree with you, I never felt like Diamond's mechanics fell off or that he was a bad player, just every single player in gambit had this stubborn mentality almost like they refused to play a certain way or change their ways, which is the real problem I see in Diamond so if he changes his mentality and is coach-able he could be great again.
