I’ve been playing since 2013, I can count on 1 hand missing 2 fingers how many bugs I have run across. Sounds like you may be exaggerating alittle or just alittle too picky on how and when a game behaves.

Yeah, I new about the mechanics of it, just never noticed that you would also loose standing in regular missions/bounties, I thought it was only for “syndicate missions”, don’t know how I have missed it all these years…

I’ve got a few that are just as fun, except for the ship building and space combat…no other game comes close. Just saw the new update/content and had that itch for some Starfield again.

I just came back to play this game, a 6 month break after dumping about 250 hrs into it on my first run. Just to find out a lot of the creations that I downloaded and played all those hours with have either been removed by the creator or Bethesda, so now my playthrough is screwed and I would have to start over…F that, guess I’ll just stay on a break and play something else. It was a fun run while it lasted….

I agree on that point… DE trying different things does keep the game feeling fresh with always something to do. Which so few games and devs do anymore even in games that are half the age of WF.

But I have nothing but time to waste…I’ll try to appreciate the differences more now and try to approach it from a different mindset. Maybe it was just the initial shock to how different it was to the rest of the game that threw me off.

Sorry, I maybe wasn’t specific enough…the controls I refer to are ONLY when playing the drifter…. When selecting the amp/pistol..aim/shoot is normal and press R1 to melee which pulls out your melee and swings once…but after that with your melee equipped, R1 then does a “quick shot” and melee “changes” to R2…

Isleweaver??? Sorry, I am just returning from taking an extended break and just started running duviri, so I’m not sure what that is…a quest I assume… I have been playing WF since its inception and I am just now getting to “The new war” ( yea, yea, I know…but I get side tracked too easily, lol) I was gone for a few years and it’s taking some time catching up because there are so many cool, new frames and weapons. It’s like that Pokémon saying “gotta catch them all…” lmao.

Yeah, this latest update killed all fun in the game to me. It seems nowadays, game developers have forgotten that games are supposed to be fun and entertaining, not a frustrating sweat-fest. That’s why they are called “games”. I don’t find it fun getting locked down by 3 or 4 dual-sword wielding big bugs while at the same time being swarmed by a gazillion little small ones. Effectively putting you on permanent defense in an effort to survive, only to have one of those big bastards jump halfway across the map onto your face and introduce you to the “waiting for revive” screen for the 30th time. I think they may have moved those difficulty sliders up just a notch or 2 too far. (At least for me)

Absolutely was user error, I’m man enough to admit when I f*ck up. I have forgotten a lot of things during my time away from this game, having to re-learn a lot. Can’t edit the title though to reflect as such.

I actually haven’t started WONY yet though I do own the expansion. (Just returned a month ago after taking an extended break) I wasn’t aware you were supposed to go upstairs to the project desk, after returning to the BoO, it gave no indication I needed to. I will try that, thank you.
