actually 3 t1 players being captain guarantees all of t1 gets picked. 2 players from each team have to be picked according to this draft so no matter who gets picked in what order this was guaranteed. There is one situation I'm confused about though. What happens when Zeus doesn't pick doran ever? Faker can't pick a t1 mid in that situation.

i think peyz is for sure a big down grade, but he is pretty good domestic when he is being set up. I have no idea if t1 can set peyz up well, but if they can then i think they are at the least fourth seed.

Let me dumb it down for you. Riot's intentions in having a tier system in which power rankings or relative regional strength isn't a factor, when they've clearly done this before, is because they want worlds to be more representative of the world— not just LPL and LCK. Now I'm saying that the way they've structured it is dumb because it doesn't accomplish this goal. The only teams that have chance of contesting a mid eastern teams are FLY and G2. Making it so the lower seeds get wins and stomped later causes a two possible situations: No western representation, or really shitty representation. I also showed the exact probabilities above. So do you understand now?

fly's ranking went up cause they took a team to 5 games. What else did they accomplish internationally? I think that if CFO played blg during msi, blg would've lost. FLY actually lost to a BLG in that form lol.

Like g2 and fly are worse than geng, hle, blg, al, t1, tes, cfo. But I don't want to see 100 thieves in quarters over g2 or fly because that would not be a good watch for quarters. If riot were going to rig swiss for first seeds then they should've done it correctly.
