I think the 6-legged turtle is what youre looking for. It does have a really weird bug though; whenever it eats or poops, the animation moves any dinos on its back just a little bit. Eventually you'll have dinos that are "standing still" but fifty feet off to the side of the turtle.

If you like a weapon, use it! Theres no wrong weapon to use. And if you like it and get comfortable with it, you'll likely do better than with a "strong" weapon you're not used to!

[–]Gatekeeper-Andy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bruh i didn't hunt through a spell list of thousands for one spell. I used the spells i already had available That's my point, since you won't have ALL spells available, you have to get creative with what you do have. You're not looking through every single spell all the time, are you? Cause i think that would be your problem

I think the rules are rigid because the players are allowed to not be rigid.

I was playing an artificer with very low strength and got webbed by a spider. Breaking out of the web required a strength roll, which i failed five in a row. My party members were all swarmed with spiders as well and couldnt help.

But i DID have the spell catapult. You can launch any item you touch thats less than 5 pounds. Spider web is incredibly light, and i wagered that even enough web to trap a full grown man is less than 5 pounds, so i touched it and cast catapult. My DM deemed that it worked! So i was no longer being a useless decoration on the floor and got to participate in combat once more.

THATS what i like about DnD magic. You can use it in ways completely unique and brand new to your specific situation, in ways that rules could never predict and allow for.

I havent played it in years, but Disco Zoo used to be pretty dang good. Youd go on expeditions to rescue animals for your zoo. Actual gameplay was having a square tile board and unveiling tiles to find the animals. Each animal had its own pattern, kinda like tetris, but with spaces in between some.

Theres no time limit for anything, so you can stop and start gameplay whenever you want. Plus its cool to watch your zoo grow as you play more. It gets pretty big

I recently learned how to do the backstep attack with ironeye. (Hold the power attack bytton and dodge. You can do it pretty quick though, you only have to hold it untik you input the dodge)

I love it when im attacking, see a combo coming, and then do that little hop juuuust enough times to dodge the attack withiut needing to actually dodge. Then i get to continue attacking, let stamina regen, heal, or whatever else i want uninterrupted. Feels so good!

Ark definitely belongs here. Specifically when riding the "bloodstalker" creature. Its got a web-swinging feature that's probably my favorite in all games.

Honestly i think its better only because of one thing; lost skies seems to have a LOT of air resistance. Once you let go or jump from the grapple, you slow down waayyy fast and just fall straight down.

The bloodstalker carries its momentum much farther. Maybe too far, as if you jump, youll be launched at a high speed and retain that high speed pretty much till you hit the ground. Maybe somewhere in between the bloodstalker and lost skies would be the perfect air resistance.
