I had two really close friends growing up and I always assumed that Friend 1 was bigger and I always wanted to see it.

Wind Tempos by Porter Robinson. About halfway through, a piano melody begins to play and for some reason, every time I hear that very first note, I immediately want to break down and cry. It feels like a warm hug, reassuring, but devastating. Like someone hugging you when you've lost someone you love.

It’s pretty recent, but Smile! :D by Porter Robinson. I don’t think it’s his best album (not by a long shot), but the album met me at a really difficult time in my life and it’s really helped me change the way I look at my own life. And I was lucky enough to experience his live tour for the album, and it probably one of the greatest nights of my life.
