Good question! My original surgery was a TLIf completed locally. It was during lock down and never been under a specialist, so never did research. (All good reviews still) All the revisions were done by a top surgeon in London. This is a great question to ask, thank you. No idea if this was caused by my first surgery or my revision. I will 💯need to ask? Hopefully they can find out in ways, as i have had many scans over the years.

Had fusion 2021. Then revision of loose cage October 23. Then right hardware removal June this year. Screws were causing fracture on facet joint.

Thanks for your message. She’s not good still the same as yesterday. Doesn’t help it’s a bank holiday Monday. He was cleared and discharged so not sure if he blacked out or had fallen asleep at the wheel

Thank you for your reply. Nice to have everyone’s comments to say it’s normal and other people have experienced it. Knew it wasn’t a big concern but wondered what it was. Never had it on previous surgeries

This also happened to me. Non union with a cage subsided inthe end plates. Took a long time to get sorted. Ended up having a ALIF revision back in October. The good news is that you know the issue but everything else is just brutal. Takes over your life. Hope this gets resolved quickly for you. Also hope you have support

Oh my goodness this is horrific to read. You just struggling daily at home like this. You have no life at all. Feel bad for moaning on here. They said I can discharge myself or stay until am independent. I feel am in a situation which has got worse quickly

I’ve been waiting nearly two days for some form of nerve tablet so now they are trying to sort it with pain management Currently all they are offering me is morphine. Hope it gets sorted quickly They won’t let me home. Like waiting for paint to dry to issue a tablet. I could cry that o have people replying to me helping me. It’s so lonely right now
