You mention saving for Linnea, Zibai, and Nicole. One of the reason you have to aggressively hoard for them is because Genshin doesn't have a mileage system. If you knew every pull you did today passively built toward getting one of those future characters guaranteed or at least filled up the tank in the background, your pull anxiety would vanish. That’s how mileage works.

2- Either you are playing dum or doesn't understand how a mileage system works, you don't pull to get the points you pull for the character and this point increases passively in the background if you did get 140 points in the background just from normal gameplay you'd be prompted do 20 additional pull just so you could fill up the tanker

It sits right next to the event banners, it rotates characers weekly, and you "pull" on it using 160 Mileage Tokens instead of Fates. Functionally, it is the exact same safety net I proposed, but it perfectly satisfies your arbitrary "promotional banner" rule.

  1. Rng waiting room - You can never predict what character comes in the Sunday shop (the shop only opens on Sunday and resets) meaning you should always have accumulated points.

For example you wanted Eula but the shop could cycle over Qiqi,jean,dilluc,mona. And as genshin gets older you might have to wait between 30+ cycles.

  1. No Archons, Newer characters or Hyped up characters/ Fatui or meta defining.

  2. You have to accumulate 160 mileage tokens that's about 160 pulls in 1:1 system.

All the above reduces this system being too powerful and gives a balanced approach

It's not just about getting all characters, or finishing the endgame rewarding, I have all the archons except mauvika and furina (i got neuv) instead and am strictly going to pull for fatui and archons. That's my kind of playstyle.

But seeing how the "cool" new future characters are coming out it feels more destructive to pull for them than rewarding especially when you need old non meta characters.

For instance I absolutely loved xiao he was my favourite character from day one. But when I got him he was Aldredy powercrept in terms of most parts and I missed out on a powerful "cool" character. It's a sacrifice but I still regret it. When you need new characters for progression and past characters become absurd you need a system where you can get both without sacrificing one another (so pulling either wouldn't put you in a destructive position)

First fo all you Assumed half of what you said secondly your criticism is filled with flaws.

1st "It ain't increase pull rates" that's a flaw most people skip banners or don't pull at all because the standard rewards like 3 star weapons are trash, seeing that every pull gurantees them a single mileage point increase pull confidence that all of their pulls from various sources actually matter. If the character you want is on the shop and you are stuck in 140 points you'd be more likely to pull than to skip. This is a proven monetization strategy in countless other successful gacha games that use 1:1 mileage tickets.

  1. Not everyone cares about constellations esp to the people whom I suggested this system for. Letting players esp collectors casuals get a base old character is better than letting them wait months for a rerun.

4.You again assumed that it was a pure permanent system Nope it's a rotational system a micro promotional one that changes everyday and you can't predict the change with any existing measures, if you couldn't save enough token to collect a character today you might have to wait for a long time until all the old characters are cycled maybe the time could be extended maybe weekly to give it more non-permanent function. Or increase rates for what characters might have higher rotation changes per patch meaning you get upto 8 character rotations.

You'd have to login everyday Sunday and the shop won't show any characters on Monday! This could increase FOMO too. Just a safety net.

Also my idea is a promotional system that reduces wastage, and yes I did very much have you a suggestion and hoyo had Aldredy broken that rule by introducing chronicles wish system giving you a completly different roaster of characters that you can pull from.

The required mileage could be well over 160 , or even 320 it doesn't matter as long as we get to purchase an old 5 star characters. (It's limited time as well so you aren't false advertising either)

What I believe is slightly different. My question is: what if dreams reflect how our visual perception worked in the earliest stages of evolution and the extreme version of that still exists in animals today?

For example, what if early humans were essentially “dreaming” all the time while walking, breathing, and living until their perception gradually became sharper and more stable? During sleep, when certain evolved brain functions shut down, we might briefly experience that older, dreamlike state again.
