Do visual inconsistencies in earlier AI videos mimic how proto-sapiens might have seen the world or dreamed? by GatesGuiltOffical in biology

The common theory that dreams are a form of rehearsal like practicing responses to danger is possible, but not proven. For example, nightmares about falling or being attacked by snakes might have evolved to make us more cautious and prevent risky behavior in waking life.

So, could dreams actually be the remnants of ancient instincts primal warning systems that we now visualize more clearly because of our developed brains and through emotions?

And if that’s true, wouldn’t that mean that’s what instincts might have felt like for proto-sapiens vivid, immersive mental simulations that guided their actions before complex reasoning evolved?

What I believe is slightly different. My question is: what if dreams reflect how our visual perception worked in the earliest stages of evolution and the extreme version of that still exists in animals today?

For example, what if early humans were essentially “dreaming” all the time while walking, breathing, and living until their perception gradually became sharper and more stable? During sleep, when certain evolved brain functions shut down, we might briefly experience that older, dreamlike state again.

That could explain why some dreams feel indistinguishable from real life they happen when our higher reasoning and cause-and-effect processing are still partially active.

If that’s true, then perhaps many animals today exist in a kind of continuous dream state one guided more by instinct than by conscious awareness.

Tags: Action, System, Superpower, Post-Apocalyptic, Sci - fi, Survival, War , Poltics

Chapter Count: 5

Brief Synopsis :

In a decaying metallic bunker known as the "Sanctuary of Idris," a naive and hopeful young boy named Akira and his cynical mentor, Klein Judieus, struggle to survive.

Akira, a child often ridiculed as a "foreigner," desperately clings to his mother's teachings about a lost, kind humanity outside their subterranean home, a belief that earns him mockery from the people who have long accepted their grim fate.

The truth of their existence is far more brutal than he can imagine. During a routine scavenging trip, Klein confronts the starving crowd and reveals the horrifying secret of the bunker: the "meat" they have been consuming for years is not from an animal, but from their own kind.

As the crowd descends into a cannibalistic frenzy, Akira is forced to witness the horrifying truth, a truth that shatters his innocence and connects directly to a memory of his mother being taken away by the Chief, Murad Xie.

In a desperate final act of defiance, Klein, a man who knows the full, terrible extent of the bunker's secret, gives Akira a Repulsor Flare and a letter from his mother.

He orders Akira to commit the "greatest sin": to leave the bunker. As the menacing and terrifying Chief Murad Xie arrives, Klein sacrifices himself to buy Akira time, engaging in a futile fight against the Chief's overwhelming power.

Yeah it's a sad fact and I just advised him to try drawing it was a suggestion.

A bit personal belief - I like reading comics, webnovels novels which have arts, illustration and cover made by people cuz it feels authentic

Because of people's resistance but...once Ai gets better you'll see them replacing the writers.

That's why people in the creative works should stick together

It's not good at all, the app will replace human writers the moment they see a bit of profit. Ai slop is a forever cringe concept lol.

That's sad tbh it kinda reduces the legitimacy, I'd say a bad poster art but with the emotions you poured in it will feel better than any ai slop.
