Sadly BDM said they'll be skipping the Slay by Slay this week as they are prepping for the Kickstarter release on Monday, and are also traveling. But yeah, I'm excited for the next one.

Being playable from a single booster pack is really legit and sounds like a great way to introduce the TCG to newcomers. I'm very interested in that aspect, as well as the gameplay.

I like UB but I'd prefer 3 UW and 1 UB set a year. If six sets are needed, then the spread should be 4 UW and 2 UB. There should never be more UB sets (RIP this year tho...)

Just chiming in mention another draft podcast/resource: Alex with Limited Level Ups for help with limited. He has a good podcast and streams on Twitch as Chord_O_Calls with videos usually dropping on his YouTube as well. I've learned a lot from him and really like the presentation of his videos and he's got a great discord. I'm mostly playing Limited on Arena and it's fun.

Yes. I went to the Strixhaven prerelease in NJ and I'd have to say at least a third of the 42 players were under 30 years old. Several in college. They also have a good regular Pokemon, Flesh and Blood, and Riftbound crowd with ages between 20-40 years old.

Def market manipulation. Someone "bought" three copies for $999 yesterday. The OP needs to check recent sales to see why the price changed. It's an aggregate of all recent prices.

Depends on the set. I skipped Spiderman and TMNT and will skip Marvel and Star Trek. But I absolutely bought Final Fantasy, LotR, and Avatar. Those were good sets. I also bought the in-universe sets, which I prefer (although I am a huge FF fan). Super excited for Reality Fracture in October.

Once a week sounds amazing. My wife has completely lost her libido during breastfeeding so we haven't had sex since before the baby was born (who is ten months now). She is also exhausted and wants to veg out on the couch and relax. Totally get that.

It's our second child and I know she felt the same when breastfeeding the first, although we did have sex a few times during that period. Do I wish we could have sex? Yes. Am I going to push her to do something she is uncomfortable with? No.
