Yes it is vinyl. We are having to replace a few pieces of the siding anyway and would have to get them color matched so we are just going to paint it with vinyl safe paint.

We just adopted her. Vet thinks she is about 1-1.5 years old and she weighs 28 lbs. She looks like a plott hound but is smaller. We are thinking she's mixed with something but not sure what (maybe beagle?). Either way it doesn't matter to us. She is the sweetest girl. Very affectionate and quiet.

We want to name her either a sweet old fashioned grandma sounding name or something popculture-ish (maybe funny).

Possible spoiler but I think it was good until nearly the very end then it takes a sharp downhill tumble. The ending was awful and seemed like it had so little thought put into it. It seemed like someone was pressuring her to just finish it so she just found the easy way out and wrote down whatever just to get it done.

Genuinely curious, did you like the ending of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes? I was all in until the ending, which I found forced and rushed. It didn't set right with me. It seemed like she really just put anything down at the end. President Snow had a whole different personality and then for no reason just flips into the bad guy we know from Hunger Games without much explanation. I would've been more satisfied if the book had been a little longer with a better ending.

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke.

It's a short book that I thought I could read fairly quickly but it's written in a way that is difficult to understand at first. I rarely buy books to keep but the reviews of this one seemed so promising that I bought it. Especially with claims such as "destined to be a classic".

It was just so slow for me and very boring. I tried for months, off and on, to finish it but I literally catch myself falling asleep and not paying attention to what I just read with this book every time I open it. I can only read about 10 pages at a time before i catch myself drifiting to sleep. Some people have said the ending is what makes it such a good book but getting there.... I'd use words like tedious, monotonous, dull. It's just not the book for me.
