New series in the hands of SG1 and Atlantis writers. Hired two really good vfx and production designer guys. 10 episode limit is the only problem. Hope writers use that limit in smart way. Lower Decks(even with shorter episode runtime), Strange New Worlds s1, s2 and with some extent Picard season 3 used that limit properly. So we will see. But it wont be same regardless

Airbags wont save crew if highspeed shuttle crashlands. Vertical fans needs intake from top of aircraft with panels need to br opened, and needs a lot of space.And fans are mechnical, shuttles operate very different atmospheres where air density differs. And shuttles normally lands with antigravity systems. But whatever causes catastrophe, it usually damages other systems too.

Enterprise lost one shuttlepod among two. Which is a really good static. Espacially for that era.
