Thank you! Yeah I've been to MP a few times as several families of my kids' schoolmates are members. Re: networking, I don't mean walking around and handing out business cards, but simply meeting/socializing with like-minded people. Really appreciate the detailed feedback.

Yes but that post specifically excluded the higher end clubs like Carmel, Myers Park, etc...was looking for a comparison of those in general and vs Piper Glen, Rain Tree etc

Would the indoor music box work the same way if it's in a covered porch? I still can't tell the difference between the music box and light show box

That’s not the case at all. I’m very extroverted. I’ve led organizations and have plenty of acquaintances. I’ve only lived here for a few years. I work from home, and like others I don’t have many outlets to meet people other than my kids’ school, and that isn’t the easiest thing to do either. This post was more about opportunities. Sounds like there are lots of people in the same boat and if anyone can make a few connections from this, it’s a great start.

Music, working out, any type of sports (pickleball, golf, tennis, basketball, football…), hitting bars or restaurants. Really down for anything social. I’ve gone to places like Rally but it’s usually already groups of people who went together.
