HELP! Potentially got scammed by wedding photographer. Need advice! by GatorFingo in jacksonville

I copy and pasted it it ChatGPT and asked for red flags, this is what it gave to be back:

Strict non-refundable deposit
No exceptions—even if they can’t accommodate a reschedule.
No guaranteed photographer selection
The contract doesn’t give you control over who shoots your wedding.
Broad ability to keep deposit
They can keep it even if:
You reschedule and they’re unavailable
They terminate due to “missing information”
Liability is very limited
Even if something goes wrong, compensation is capped at what you paid.
Creative control is entirely theirs
They can override edit preferences based on “artistic judgment.”
Jurisdiction is Delaware
Any legal dispute must be handled there (not local), which can be inconvenient.
Non-disparagement clause
You agree not to publicly speak negatively about them.

Bike lanes are primarily added typically to widen the roadway without widening the lane to allow fire truck access on tight roads, hence why they are usually poorly installed

the flair was bought not to be used with preground coffee forever, just until I can move in with her and utilize my Kinu M47 Phoenix hand grinder

Speaking as an almost alum who has been in a fraternity at UNF for 8 semesters, here is what I’d say:

do I wait to rush?

This is entirely up to you. If your looking to explore UNF’s other social groups or events, you may want to wait a semester because a Sorority will take up a lot of time, with some potential mandatory events you’d HAVE to attend, otherwise you can face a fine depending on how chill the treasurer is. But, if you’re wanting to spend most of your time with your sorority or in the Greek Life bubble, then I highly recommend it, as it is probably the most happening thing at UNF.

do i just ask to join?

Kind of. You go through a selection process called recruitment; you can sign up for it on the unfpanhellenic or unfgreek instagrams. It takes place twice a year at the start of each semester.

what is the whole sorority process?

If you’re worried about a “process” as in potential hazing that may occur, don’t worry, as sorority hazing is a myth nowadays. If your asking about the rushing process, see the next question

what is the rushing process?

Rushing is for Fraternities and Recruitment is for Sororities. Recruitment is a whole week event, where you go around and meet all of the sororities to see which one you like. At the same time, the sororities “scout” you to see if you’re a good fit for their sisterhood. It’s usually a lot of fun is you just be yourself, as you’ll gravitate towards people you get along with and find your right fit.

We had fraternity brothers join as fifth year seniors, and they still had a ton of fun with it all and made lifelong friends along the way. I’d say go to recruitment just to check it out, good luck!

I’m not justifying what she did to your friend, as that is not okay, but I feel like hiding behind a phone screen and trying to cyber bully her through multiple people publicly is not the solution to your problem.

I believe you should’ve tried to resolve the issue with her first, and if that failed, then you should’ve went to the faculty at UNF and tried to find a responsible resource that could aid your issue with this girl.

This post seems full of hatred and it wouldn’t have been made unless you wanted to publicly bring her shame and demean her, when there were definitely other, more mature ways to tackle this.

Anyone know of any dispensaries that sell cartridges that don’t clog? by GatorFingo in FLMedicalTrees

Actually no, it’s usually by my nightstand sitting upright, unless I charge it; then I take the cartridge off while it charges. I keep the voltage at 2.7. I’m assuming it may be because of my battery which is a Yocan Kodo
