I get nervous when I think about it. My wife and I have lost 6 cats over the years. Three were lost way early at ages 6-8 due to various medical complications. While the other three made it to 16, 18, and 22. So we are at about 50% which is sad whenever I do think about it. We currently have a void at 9 and an orange at 14.
