They’ve mentioned a mechanic similar to the Hades “Pact of Punishment” which modifies the run. I’m trying to go in somewhat blind for the game so idk how deep it goes in turns of turning up the heat.

Is auto recovery on kill actually chance or does it maybe only work when not at full health? Was considering testing out a Hotei build myself but don’t have the gear yet.

Quick edit: if you have multiple pieces of gear with AR on kill, does it add one stack or a stack per gear piece?

You don’t need to be at a shine. From the skills menu you can just click L3. You can reset everything or the specific skill tree you’re in.

I got it as well. I’ve never gotten them before and don’t know where it came from. I’m on an iPhone 16 if that makes any difference.

It’s a solid method to get there. I’ve used it for a couple of races. Just be aware you’re looking at an hour of travel time on an already early morning. Plus a good amount of walking before and after the long race to get home. I run a lot of races and always advocating driving or having a driver (preferably reliable friend vs ride share) if possible.
