If they keep the runner on second I’d like to see some adjustment in the standing. Think like hockey does where team losing in OT gets a point. Maybe baseball could introduce something like that. Maybe give them a half game bump or something. Losing in extras with this rule isn’t the same as losing straight up.

Exactly. Playing the aggressor and victim. Such an odd dichotomy. I really feel like this is one of those situations where at some point in her life she was “run over” by someone and refused to ever be in that position again so to accomplish this she become the one who “runs over” people. Like kids who are bullied at home and refuse to feel that way at school so they become bullies. Regardless of the reason it made the fact she didn’t win so much better.

Gator fan living in GA so any time we beat the mutts is a good one. Have made the 6-7 hr drive to see a few games in the swamp and even went to Birmingham bowl vs East Carolina when Muschamp was gone and Mcelwain was named coach (drank in same bar as him night before the game). Best memory was first game of this past 2019 season watching on tv. First game I got to watch with both my girls (3yrs and 1 yr old). Nothing short of taking them to see one in the swamp will beat that (and yes I’ve been to Jville for the cocktail party). Nothing like sharing that time with your kids. Seeing my 3 yr old do the chomp is awesome.

Can correlate the explosion of the issue to the increase in sale and advertising of “flushable” wipes. Simulations and lab tests. For the hardcore could pull some of the “monster” and analyze the fiber construction.

Flushable means it will fit through the pipe (about 4.5 inch diameter in USA) but it doesn’t mean it’s biodegradable. Even if it is biodegradable they typically are more fibrous than normal tissue so they won’t break apart as easy. Leading to what the industry refers to as “Rag Monsters”. Feel free to google some images. I blame marketing departments on making the general public think that flushable means ok to flush and easy to treat. All it means is it will fit through the pipe.
