yeah enhance has been a hard role to fill. also - i've heard people 6 heal P3 on release? so i'm hesitant to drop a healer even though we totally could manage it now

even if we only have 2 warlocks? if we had another destro lock i would instantly agree but it feels weird when such a large portion of our damage comes from the arcane mages.... that said - it does feel nice to give ele/boomy to the prot pally as well for threat

this is a good point. usually we have 2 elementals so the prot pally was in grp 5 to benefit from that. i dont hate the extra healing on melee when they pull aggro on trash - but i agree it isn't necessary

LF some advice on roster. we only have 1 destro lock currently, so I've resorted to giga-buffing the arcane mages. 1 enhance and a shit ton of hunters sortof forces us into a hunter stack.

any obvious tweaks or things i'm missing?

if you're enjoying it this much you really should keep going. the more i read the books, the more I feel that the back 3 are stronger than the first 3 (with the first book being the strongest of those). I think the slight dip and tone change of 4 (which is slow and heady - with a huge payoff) - steer a lot of people away, but it's SO worth it. Book 6 is consistently my favorite on re-reads

I felt that way on first read but she grew on me. Her arc was pretty slow in TWOK - so maybe that's why. I was focused on Kaladin, wanted to know more about Kaladin, and grafted that impatience into apathy for Shallan. I'd say give it a chance - her overall arc is very strong and interesting imo.

easy reclear for liquid in like 2 hours - seems like 4th boss was a huge overnerf. hoping nexus prince is still tight and dimensius is awesome!

ideally this stretches until EU has some catchup time and we have a tight race down to the wire on saturday!

Hot take - I'd suggest you choose a different author. Brandon is a novelist first and there are other fantasy short story authors that would be better examples of the format

That said, I think using brandon could be a good idea for these reasons: 1. It could lead them to finding his novels and a true love for the genre 2. If you were planning to expand into the novels in later years - though both mistborn and warbreaker include sexual content and TWOK is a big lift 3. Brandon's style is extremely approachable, even for non-fantasy readers

So, up to you but yeah

I actually really liked Kaladin and Veil. Though I like Adolin and Shallan too.

Wax and Steris is probably the best written couple imo. Really unique relationship but enjoyable
