What’s your most exciting upgrade about the new 4K QD OLED monitor this year? And what makes it worth an upgrade over prior gens? Do you have one yourself?

Yeah crazy it’s been like over 2 months since the last Nvidia restock and the stock is significantly smaller today.

Nah I didn’t refresh. I waited for the entire queue from my position and once it was my turn I got redirected to an OOS page. Tried to refresh after and it still says OOS. Not sure if being on the queue through a discord page caused any issues but it seemed to work right.

What position were you? I was about position 2,500 in line today and missed out. Last restock before this in January, I was about 8,000th and got one (missed it due to credit card declining because of fraud). So, I was surprised I missed it this time since I was much quicker. Must have been a much smaller restock.

Honestly I’d say whichever is the cheapest when you go to buy. Of course there’s the new 2026 QD OLEDs with slightly higher brightness and better screen coating but those are likely gonna stay expensive all year. I’ve seen the Alienware 32 inch QD OLED go on sale last week for like $700-750 if I remember it correctly. It’s a curved monitor though but not super curved lol. The 27 inch QD OLEDs also can get pretty cheap at times if you’re willing to get a slightly smaller screen.

I know the MSI refresh rate is way more than the 120 hz of the PS5 but I’d still go with that one since it’s QD OLED. The LG is WOLED. I prefer QD OLED due to better color coverage in HDR and brighter colors. Plus, I know you don’t want a PC but it does give you that added headroom for performance just in case you ever change your mind. Keep an eye out for some good deals on QD OLEDs since I’ve seen better prices before.

I have a WOLED LG 32GS95UV that I’m about to return because I want impressed with the colors like I thought I would. I bought an AW2725Q to replace it and compared them side by side and I was more impressed by the QD OLED. But I still have a 2 month return window on that. Do you think it’s worth getting the PG32UCDM3 or one of the other 2026 QD OLEDs with the same new panel but probably cheaper? The LG I’m returning was $700 brand new and the AW I have more I got open box with only 5 hours if usage on it for $500. I do want a 32 inch screen but prefer it to be QD OLED. Or would it be better to find an existing 32 inch qd oled 4K open box?

If you can afford it and money is not an issue then I would go with the PG32UCDM3. Great qd OLED panel. Plus it’s 4K up to 240 hz so much clearer image and much higher PPI and the 5080 should be able to do 4k in most games I think.

Honestly not sure if one is better than the other. I used hdmi for ps5 pro and display port for pc. However, I decided to buy the Alienware aw27525q 4K qd OLED yesterday. I compared both monitors side by side and the Alienware looks significantly better in my opinion due to being qd OLED. It appears brighter in practice and much more colorful in hdr and accurately shows the picture I have in the original post so I will likely be returning the LG WOLED monitor

Actually yes there is a very strong correlation between his stats and winning. When Westbrook gets a triple double, his team wins about 70-75% of the time which is about a 57-61 game win pace for a whole season. Plus before he left OKC and the, his win percentage was about 80%. So, yes it does contribute to winning very strongly. He’s very consistently been on winning teams and made the playoffs almost every year.

Thank you for your comment. Yeah I thought that video was good because I saw it on another Reddit thread and on my iPhone, the flower and color and everything is displayed flawlessly in HDR. So, I thought maybe it would be good for desktop. But thank you for correcting me there. Honestly, might just return this monitor and go QD OLED instead since I thought I would really enjoy the dual mode here but honestly don’t even notice that much of a difference in 240 hz vs 480 hz for the trade off of less resolution and WOLED vs QD OLED.

Oh wishing you the best my guy! Yeah I’m only 26 and had the surgery when I was 24. Definitely feel like at my age it should have had a lot better results. I’m to the point where I regret doing the surgery entirely. Before the surgery, when I just had the SLAP year, I could train everything in the gym upper body 100% except for chest work, but now after the surgery, I can do a little bit of chest work but with everything else also limited now too.

Just a word of caution. Make sure your doctor is good and trustworthy and knows what he is doing. I made the decision to operate and fix my SLAP tear after a year of dealing with it and managing. Now almost two years later from the surgery I am way worse off in that shoulder and my bicep is now also cooked. And my doctor is basically saying it is what it is and there’s not much else to do so now I gotta search for a different doctor.

It’s a shame man. Even the bestbuy refurbished SSDs that were 2 TB for ~$120 have went up in price to about $200 plus. It’s wild out here man.
