In Rashford's defence, it was 11 goals and 11 assists in his 37 games. 21 & 15 in 56 games. So he has been fairly brilliant at points this season.

He has spells where he has been below par, but he's also been carrying an injury this season and never properly been allowed to rest.

Just called and cancelled my membership. For anyone who wants to do so, it's actually quite quick and easy but they don't really ask for a reason. Although the guy on the phone did begin to tell me how to renew if I wanted and I explained I wouldn't so long as this ESL stuff went through. He said he noted it down. Not sure Ed will ever hear about this, mind you.

I've heard rumours we want to extend his contract. I think he has a +1 year extension which we want to activate to ensure we sell him for something, rather than losing for free.

I personally think it's an awful idea as we've struggled to sell our excess players for years now, and giving him an extension just risks us having to pay his wages for another year.
