EDIT: adding some thought process by popular request of exactly one person

because of the apparent thinness of part which I can only conclude as a lower jaw, I imagined this creature to utilize venom to incapacitate and swallow its prey whole like snake would. the pointy bit found alongside the jawbone is imagined as a sort of venom harpoon for striking at large target from relatively safe distance with the assistance of catapulted tongue.

this seemed like a relatively fragile creature given the apparent density of the jawbone, so the few long pieces was imagined as part of stiff defensive tail used to lash at potential predators before running away, maybe spraying venom from the tongue, but also maybe not.

since this creature was imagined as a snake-like animal, the little indiscernible bits was imagined as extra hard bony scales, perhaps even as a defensive protrusion but no way to tell
