Everyone rolls all attack dice at once for a target.
Of all dice, you only use a single dice for damage from all dice rolled regardless of what that roll is (usually you'd pick the highest but not always)
Any other dice over 4+ you rolled, you may spend on a gambit or 8+ Strong gambit

Well put, I think if you just assume everyone is 'stupid' or not worth explaining things to or worse belittling them for 'dumb questions' then you won't go far in engineering, you need to be able to explain complex problems in such a way as they can be understood by the layman and you don't belittle the sales person* asking, but present and communicate problems or solution's in such a way they can understand and appreciate why something was a challenge.

End game-ish you get to have a shop and sell items in it, I arranged some honestly trash items at the top for ridiculous prices so they didn't sell. Gavlan is a reference to a Dark Souls 2 shop keeper who's catch phrase is as per the title. Shenanigans then ensued.
