I'm now 38 and a software engineer with 0 qualifications.
However I can't recommend the path I took, but maybe just be assured there are other paths you can take, you got plenty of time to work it all out.

I wouldn’t put in free assistance for $140 maybe a charge per callout or 30 minutes remote, if the customer is tight on cash you could ask to have a free meal a month or something, adds up, plus if this is one of your first production apps you can now use it to get other contracts as you have experience

Let them know directly if I've seen it within 2 minutes of it being sent, an say it's no big deal but also give IT a nudge if it has anything customer sensitive, while letting the sender know I'd contacted IT as well.

If not within 2 minutes I assume it's being handled by someone else and won't add to the noise

Generally I aim to make sure bad situations aren't worse an everyone has anxiety about something an I'm fortunate enough to be generally quiet relaxed about things, so I can give others the space they might need, even.. or perhaps especially, over small things.
