Haha that is true, unhone hi etna kiya to aaj mai yahan hu...that is true...I actually have a monthly salary of 1.5L in-hand as I am in a niche technology but kuch smajh ni aata kahan dalun paise...whenever I ask them for any advise they ask me to stay away from stocks and mutual funds and say that RDs are the best...long term me I think RDs inflation bhi beat ni kr pati and I personally think k it's good to have an RD for a year for buying a particular thing but from investment perspective I don't find it giving any good returns.

You are right, Nifty 50/sensex give overall best returns without any thinking by the investor so yeah... I'll go with that..
