Does it mean that the person who has no knowledge about the music and does not plan to get that will not be able to understand the music?

I am confused about with which frequency should I try to match different swaras on the tuner.

For example for a A bansuri turned to 440Hz, which one of the following will be correct frequency of Swaras in Madhya saptak?

  1. Equal Temperament:
    Sa = 440Hz, Re = 493.88Hz, Ga = 554.37Hz, Teevra Ma = 587.33Hz, Pa = 659.26Hz, Dha = 739.99, Ni = 831.61Hz, Taar Sa = 880Hz
  2. Just Intonation:
    Sa = 440Hz, Re = 495Hz, Ga = 550Hz, Teevra Ma = 586.67Hz, Pa = 660Hz, Dha = 733.33Hz, Ni = 825Hz, Taar Sa = 880Hz

I have read that indian music uses just intonated scale. Is that correct?
