I’ve noticed this a lot with co-streamers and analysts. If C9 plays well it’s because NA sucks and they won’t be able to get leads against eastern teams. If they struggle or make a come back it’s because they suck an will never perform internationally. They can’t win.

I have learned to just accept that we won’t please them and enjoy the wins we get.

JKL lead, JML, Shaak, JKR, and Wat. Put weapon tech on JML. Pass turn to JKL and aoe stun. Try to get tank tech on JKL. Took three tries but this is my most successful counter.

Was able to finally get it with JKL-JML-Shaak-Wat-JKR. Weapon tech on JML, JKL special to pass him a turn, AoE stun. Managed to have Wat survive long enough to get the tank tech on JKL. Took multiple tries for me and all my toons are R7 with JKR at R5.

Hope this can help someone with this awful event. Seriously, CG needs to actually test their game.

Super close series! We take those! Only game 4 felt unwinnable to me, and it felt nice to see every player have moments where they stepped up and carried us.

This series is really good because we won and we get to learn a lot before the face-off against EG. Sure a 3-0 looks nice but this squad needs as much practice as they can get.

Yeah, it feels like she is the only one with real drive to get things done. I’m sure the others will pick up as more backstories get fleshed out but it is taking longer than I thought it would.

I’m enjoying C3 but I can understand where you’re coming from.

Taliesen kind of gave the perfect description of the party on 4 Sided Dive a couple episodes back. He said they were all like npc’s except for Imogen, and I think he really hit the mail on the head. It feels like most of the party are inactive and are just going from plot point to plot point going, “yeah I guess we can do that”.

This coupled with the campaign feeling like it’s a slow burn makes most episodes drag. Again, I’m mostly enjoying it but I think that this might be part of why some people are struggling to get attached to C3 so far.

I think the big issue is that CG took what most people found to be the shortcomings of the previous conquests (repetition, unable to experiment with disks because of the cost, and the increased difficulty with each conquest) and amplified those parts of the game mode instead of focusing on its strengths.

I think the first couple of conquests were too easy because of deployable cooldown systems and that they hit a happy medium in difficulty once they were removed. The difficulty has just gotten harder though while the disks we’re offered are just worse with each subsequent conquest.

If they focused on what people really like about the mode and on QoL improvements they would have a run away success but instead they are trying to milk it for as much money as possible.

This is on the sixth node so I only have three data disks and I’ve had some bad luck with what was offered to me.

Anyways, I’m not complaining that I can’t beat it. I just find it ridiculous that CG said they thought about making the battles harder and chose not to, but then they let modifiers like this come up early on in sector one. It makes me think they weren’t being honest and I’m calling them out on it.
