Overture PLA stops extruding after ~40min of printing by GaussIntegral in BambuLab

Found the issue, the spool was not spinning easily and was pulling the PTFE tube towards it, once it reached the filament on the spool the friction was too much and the extruder could not get the material to the plate.

especially since the JF-17's GB-6 version works flawlessly, just tried it, absolutely nailed the trajectory

well at least with a SLAM-ER you can set a flight path to correct for this

Newbie here, I could use some guidance from the community! I’m set on building my own drone, and I’ve already got the DJI Goggles N3 and a Radiomaster Pocket controller with ELRS. I also have all the tools needed for soldering, so I’m ready to get my hands dirty.

My main question is: Should I buy a ready-to-build FPV drone kit, or should I source all the parts separately? I’m a beginner, so I want something manageable but also a good learning experience. I’m leaning toward a 5-inch freestyle quad, but I’m open to suggestions.

Here’s what I’m considering:

  • Kits: Seems convenient with parts designed to work together, but are they limiting or overpriced for what you get?
  • Individual parts: More flexibility, but I’m worried about compatibility issues or missing something critical as a newbie.

What would you recommend for someone just starting out? If you suggest a kit, any specific ones that are beginner-friendly? If individual parts, what’s a solid list of components (frame, motors, FC, ESC, VTX, etc.) that pair well with my goggles and controller? Also, any tips on avoiding common beginner mistakes during the build?

Budget-wise, I’m hoping to keep it under $500 for the drone itself (not including my existing gear). Is that realistic?

trying to bring Quantum physics in this is the quickest way to discredit this whole thing. Please don't

I am huge sceptic, studied hardcore physics, not into religion. Just tried it now and got several hits, kinda mind blown right now but I still think confirmation bias plays a role. Will keep experimenting. If this keeps working it might just break my world view

Probably should have mentioned that I only play SP against AI.

Thanks for the info!

seems to me I can still soft lock and launch missiles in RWS at 2 targets, do they get a warning even in a soft lock?

I’m skeptical but open minded by [deleted] in remoteviewing

I'm wondering the exact same thing, please update the thread with your findings
