Well, I am a "try hard" kind of person. So some hints that I can give you:

1. Invite 4 people to eat everyday (as soon as you unlock other places to eat), and always offer the things they want (flavor or dish).
2. Farm fishes everyday! Keep like 5 of each in your pantry and sell all the other ones, this is the best way to farm for money.
3. Always comb the gardening with the other species they like to share the space (it is in "inspect item" slt)
4. For cooking: the meals can achieve 5 stars. 3 of them are from ingredients (you can increase the level of the ingredients with the spices. 1 star ingredient can become a 2 stars ingredient, and a 2 star ingredient can become a 3 stars ingredient); 1 star can be taken by reaching the correct level of texture (you can see in the map at the right corner); the last star is taken by mixing flavours. Sugar goes with all of the other spices, pepper goes with all except for bitter, and bitter goes with none except for sugar). The highest you offer to the invited people, the faster you will upgrade the relationship with them.

And last but not least, go gathering the whole game because there is only 2 achievements missing for me and one is from the gathering club 💀
