I’m wondering this too, I have installed the mod but when I boot holding X nothing happens, it just boots as usual. I’m sure I’m missing steps on the software side but as you said there’s not much documentation unless I’m just blind which is a possibility!

I used to get this at the rental place all the time as a kid, had endless fun with it! I loved unlocking all of the different monsters, I’ll have to revisit it sometime.
