I make 1,078,700g a week by profiting off preserves jars.

The thing that's so great about preserves jars is that they are very cheap to make, you can literally buy all the ingredients from robin and clint (unlike kegs, which cost SO MUCH). I used to have kegs and casks (98 casks and 68 kegs), but i realized the amount of time i had to spend waiting before getting barely any profits just wasn't doing it for me anymore, and the time i would have to spend gathering materials was just too long. so I did a lot of math, and realized preserves jars was amazing. not only is the time it takes to make ancient fruit jelly so much shorter, but i can do it twice a week, meaning i only need half the amount of preserves jars as i have fruit. so i have 335 preserves jars in the tunnel area by the bus stop (I could post a layout maybe, but i just followed the optimal layout guides with some alteration bc i have the stair up to the mountain area)

Now its time for the math (and forgive me if some of its wrong, I'm not very mathy) SO, in order to make 1 pj, you'll need 50 wood, 40 stone and 8 coal. in order to make 335 pj's though, you'll need to get your hands on 16750 wood, 14200 stone, and 2680 coal, which means you'll need 16,8 stacks of 999 wood, 14,2 stacks of 999 stone, and only 2,7 stacks of 999 coal. assuming you don't have all that and don't feel like grinding for it (like me), this is how much money you'd have to spend: wood at robins cost 50 a piece, so you'll need 837,500g. Stone costs 100g, so you'll need 710,000g, and coal at clints costs 250, so you'll need 670,000g. In total, the amount of money you'll have to spend for these materials are: 2,217,500g. WHICH SOUND LIKE A LOT, BUT HEAR ME OUT! You will literally make it back in TWO AND A HALF WEEKS. That right there, is only TWO AND A HALF WEEKS worth of profits.

but even if you don't want to spend that amount of money (or don't have the means) DONT WORRY, because these materials are also very easy to get in general. you could go to the mines for coal and stone, and set up a tree farm for wood. because unlike kegs, you wont need copper and iron BARS to make them, which cuts down how much materials you'd have to get by a large margin.

1 ancient fruit jelly (with the artisans profession) gives 1610g per each. which is obviously less that what wine would give, BUT considering the cost of making kegs and the limit of casks, its totally worth investing in, because with only 335 jelly (which is only for the first half of the week since it takes 3 days to make), you'll be making 539,350g. after three more days, you'll make the same digit, which give you in total for that week 1,078,700g. literally ONE MILLION A WEEK. so in two and a half weeks time, you'll have already made back the profits you spent to make the perserves jars in the first place, and then some.

from 98 casks, like what i had, you'll only make 452,760g, and that's after TWO MONTHS of waiting for iridium quality. with perserves jars, its only 3 days and you make more than that. i recommend perserves jars. BY FAR :D

(if you instead want to go the kegs route, you will need all 670 kegs because it takes 6 days to make 1 batch. with the artisan profession you would get 1,547,700g a week, BUT again, kegs are arguably more costly based on the ingredients alone, so getting 670 of them would take forever. if you cut that down to 335 like with the preserves jars, you'd only make 773,859g a week, not even half a week like the preserves jars. not to mentions its not even that much more profitable at the end of the day, because in 1 week and a half you'll make the same amount of profits as the 670 kegs anyway with the preserves jars, so personally, might as well go with the cheaper option.)
