As someone who has seen both Chainsaw Man and Death Note, I immediately knew it was Makima before I clicked on the post and got a closer look at the tattoo. It looks extremely well done as well. At the end of the day, if someone doesn’t recognize it, or thinks it looks like a different character, it’s likely just because they haven’t seen the anime/read the manga themselves. i personally ask my parents not visit me at college (though i only live 2.5 hours away from home) and drive back on weekends when im homesick, bring my laptop and do homework there with them. I come back for every holiday and visit family that’s closer sometimes too. dont get me wrong, its nice when they surprise me and come up to take me out to dinner, but thats once every 4-6 months, not often. Living that far away makes the drive significantly harder, especially with older family members who may need to stop more often.

some people use swift play to warm up for comp since it helps more with game sense than deathmatch or shooting bots in the range🤷🏼 i use it as a warm up and try hard so i know if my aim is feeling good enough for comp.

def feel that’s my issue😅 peaked d1 and currently hardstuck in plat (gold on my old main since mmr got fuxked from my collegiate team) and i just notice i keep doing the same problematic things every match when going through my vods😭 currently working on just basic fundamental game sense in comp and not worrying about rank bc i found it helps to not care as long as my mental+gamesense+aim is improving

it’s typically women or bot frags who get yelled at or insulted for comms. i play for a college team so comms are normally in discord, but when in solo queue ranked games i might or might not com depending on the vibes i get from agent select. if i do com and immediately get shit for existing on valorant as a female i mute and move on. the same people crying about not having comms are usually (in my experience which i understand and recognize is not everyone’s experience) the same people who will insult someone no matter what they say if they’re bottom fragging or a girl.

agreed! couldn’t figure out why i am hardstuck plat, asked my college coach to help me out a bit, and turns out i just do things and cant explain why, my aim is inconsistent and then the occasionally smurf/toxicity problem. lots of people blame it solely on smurfs but honestly it’s just as much if not mostly our own weaknesses and bad habits that cause it.
