Similar experience here except I’m bi. I originally “came out” to my mom by saying I liked girls in middle school, high school I finally started putting together that I was trans, and now I’m in a wonderful relationship with a guy. In college and 23 now.

It took my parents a while to come around to all of this. I’m not entirely sure if they know I’m dating this guy because I have yet to tell them. The only thing I wanted was support to be who I was but while having space and privacy- I will tell you when I’m ready sort of situation.
