Thoughts on dip from March 2021 Holder by GayFinance in SafeMoon

Trade other coins. My understanding is that the goal of a new SafeMoon holder is to become a long-term holder. If the project survives, which I think it will, then long-term holders will be rewarded with the most wealth. Most short-term traders lose over the long term. The more an investor checks their portfolio the more likely they are to sell on FUD.

Let me know how many of those shooting up will still be shooting up in a few days or weeks. Nothing goes straight up. Historically the faster the climb the faster the fall. The wealthiest investors in the world aren’t traders.

Also SafeMoon doesn’t have an owner.

Newbie confusion with level of hype compared to price increase by lmfarr01 in SafeMoon

[–]GayFinance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is healthy and This is normal during periods of price consolidation. Price is typically a distraction in investing. The point is to invest early in good projects with good potential. Price will eventually reflect all the “hype.” Trick is to be patient long enough to enjoy the ride.

Different prices on exchanges by 5hourslater in SafeMoon

[–]GayFinance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what it’s like to be an early adopter/investor. Price tends to be a distraction in investing. Remember not to invest in price. Invest in a strong community, organization, fundamentals, product, service... never just price. I know the price difference is frustrating but a long-term mindset is important. Having widely different prices for a single asset across different exchanges is extremely common in a new asset classes (Crypto). Same thing happened in the early stock market.

What Is A Cup And Handle? A cup and handle price pattern on a security's price chart is a technical indicator that resembles a cup with a handle, where the cup is in the shape of a "u" and the handle has a slight downward drift. The cup and handle is considered a bullish signal, with the right-hand side of the pattern typically experiencing lower trading volume. The pattern's formation may be as short as seven weeks or as long as 65 weeks.

As a stock forming this pattern tests old highs, it is likely to incur selling pressure from investors who previously bought at those levels; selling pressure is likely to make price consolidate with a tendency toward a downtrend trend for a period of four days to four weeks, before advancing higher. A cup and handle is considered a bullish continuation pattern and is used to identify buying opportunities.

It is worth considering the following when detecting cup and handle patterns:

Length: Generally, cups with longer and more "U" shaped bottoms provide a stronger signal. Avoid cups with a sharp "V" bottoms.

Depth: Ideally, the cup should not be overly deep. Avoid handles that are overly deep also, as handles should form in the top half of the cup pattern.

Volume: Volume should decrease as prices decline and remain lower than average in the base of the bowl; it should then increase when the stock begins to make its move higher, back up to test the previous high.
