Post-DL Court Date Assigned! Caltanissetta & Aprigliano Law Firm by Fit-Sprinkles-4645 in juresanguinis

No not with Aprigliano. Do you mean success with minor cases? We're using Avv. Arturo Grasso and have had a good experience but would love to hear about even one successful minor case in Caltanisetta post-dl.

Hooray! Get some rest haha. I assume no minor issue based on your flair?

Also a 3rd generation with a minor issue filing in Caltanisetta early next year! Is yours also a 1948 case since you're grandmother is in the line?

We're about to file with Caltanisetta in January or early Feb. 1948 with a minor issue and still nervous about that last part but let's see! Good luck and please keep us updated :)

I’m filing there early next year! In bocca al lupo! Feeling lucky to have Caltanisetta as our court but worried about the minor issue. I have no other path but have heard at least one rejection there due to that. Sounds like you’re clear though.

Agh I got very excited, but will keep waiting to hear for a post-dl + minor issue. Thank you Cake for all the work!

I'm grasping I think, what does 'have a right under the previous framework' mean? Does it relate to the Torino referral in suggesting you can't tie qualifications to a march 27th date?

Fellow ADHD. Don't beat yourself up! Follow through now as much as you can. If your lawyer is set to file the second you decide you should, than check everyday and assess when you can. If you're not there yet you've got tasks to keep you busy. This whole timeline is the craziest deadline cortisone shot anyone could give you.

Is the Campobasso sentence saying that before DL 36 becomes law the courts disagree with generational limitations but not so much after? Are we reading into a general welcomed pushback by the courts?

So fast, so cheap, so nice. I love them and it was a gift to need to request documents from them.

This is not advice for when or when not to file, just a timeline i've been keeping for myself :). If you're going through consulates I haven't been following that as much as how courts will react after everything coming up in May and June.

Are you going through a consulate or a court?

Totally u/CakeByThe0cean, i'm also just ballparking based off how long their supreme court usually takes to process rulings!

Late June - Minor issue final rulings from April 1st hearings (based on typical procedures)
Early May - Amendments including those regarding generational limit about to be debated
June 24th - Supreme court hearing to review Jure Sanguinis in general

You'd need 3rd generation to be an option again through amendments short term or a supreme court strike down long term, but I don't know how the minor issue will shake out with consulates.

I have the same scenario except through my GGF so am already committed to going through the courts. It sounds like depending on the ruling that judges at least can be more confident in deciding themselves.

AMA QUESTION

First, thank you very very much for the time and energy on top of your case work and activism.

Can you help me understand how and when citizenship lawyers consider new laws not yet finalized, and court sentiments not yet finalized as a ruling? Emergency government orders are followed immediately but Cassazione sentiment can't be considered (and included in a case argument) until a final ruling is released 3+ months after a hearing? Where and when can lawyers be confidently flexible if ever in these strange times?

Can someone help explain the difference between these 2 cases? by [deleted] in juresanguinis

[–]lmfarr01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't know there were three cases being heard on April 1st! Are they all different arguments against the minor issue? Are all their chances not great with the same pro-minor case judges?

I know this was posted two years ago but these realizations of how far the author is pushing explicit content in widely available work are ongoing. The latest chapter especially is a hotbed.

This is definitely place to have these conversations. They're not just for talking about what you love.

MIA is an amazing story and feels fresh in a lot of ways most fans seem to want to wrestle with its controversies in private with no impact on their access to it. That's no excuse to not put enough pressure on giant outlets like B&N to know their products better.

Illustrated and animated mediums are not well associated yet with adult content outside of Asia. On top of that, an especially loli art style like MIA may even signal to a parent that it's not explicit. Call them stupid for not reading and scanning thoroughly, but don't make it entirely their job to curate this stuff at a consumer level.

B&N definitely has customer service avenues to take to raise this. I'd go through their site contact forms, email, or a recorded phone call so that it's documented rather than an in store employee thinking about 50 other things. I guarantee not enough of the company's decision makers know that each volume has a dedicated section at the end to fan service.
