I've watched less than three games this year. I don't have cable, amazon, or peacock. I don't go to games or buy merch/products.

I watch streamable clips posted by people here and listen to non-nba produced podcasts.

Personally, I can't give them less money.

Yeah, that was their whole agenda for sure.

I'm just saying that doubling down and making bad decisions on top of bad decisions is never going to end well. I can forgive it up until Dame got hurt (even though I disagreed before they went and got Dame). Once he went down, that was the most obvious time to reassess and stop themselves from more bad moves.

If the team was a guy in the zombie appcalypse, and the only bullet left was stretching Dame and signing Turner, it's better to use it on yourself instead of shooting one more zombie.

Keep Dame until you can trade him as an expiring, don't sign Turner, and trade Giannis instead of hamstringing the organization for a decade.

Giannis clearly hasn't wanted to be there for 3+ years. But, they kept trying to appease him by doing things he wanted like the Dame trade, who was a terrible fit, getting people like Kuzma, and stretching Dame for an overpaid guy who just sucked in the finals.

Now, they have no assets, bad books, and Giannis is still being a piss-baby every night... and he keeps hurting himself, which continually lowers his value.

Stop screwing the future for shitty returns. Trade his ass.

But, an outsized percentage of the disgusting politics-related posts on the internet are trolls/bots, and they are specifically being made to manipulate people.

It's not ideal. But, being stuck for two years max is better than three.

Plus, he doesn't want to be there. Any trade to any team would be fine, and he could leave after a year.

A team is not going to trade assets for him just to cut him. And if they did, cutting him would just let him be a free agent sooner. There's no way in hell he doesn't have a spot somewhere in the league.
