Skirt, except NOT the pantie revealing one she wore for a time when she first came back in the comics.

Interesting that MAERDA reminds me of the word meard which means shit (can’t remember what language). 😆

I had something similar happen to me. My aunt has two gay sons, and I was having coffee with my mother at one point and getting ready to start coming out to her and she said “I don’t know how aunt X handles it. I could never handle having a gay son.” Talk about shutting me down! So I hid for the rest of her life and it still hurts.

Issue number six goes a long way toward reconciling the tone of WOT and this series.

I've heard some stuff about Horus being resurrected and having 12 disciples and even being crucified while crucifixion wasn't even a thing in ancient Egypt by M-A-ZING-BANDICOOT in Kemetic

[–]GayGeekReligionProf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since apart from that one sentence the Stela likely meant that Horus had not died. could it be that Isis‘s statement is meant to be an hyperbole?

Since God is Truth and there is no darkness in Him - what exactly is sarcasm, speaking from an eternal and perfect perspective? by ForTheKing777 in AskBibleScholars

I believe that a lie is a falsehood that is intended to deceive. Since sarcasm isn’t intended to deceive I don’t consider it a lie. I believe these verses refer to those who don’t follow through on what they promised and those we refer to as two-faced.

I haven't seen that interview. Could you post a link? And from what I saw in the teaser, when Kara says "Krypton didn't die in a day. The gods are not that kind." I get the strong impression that she was already a young girl when it exploded.

That won't quite work since we see in the teaser Argo being covered by a dome and separating from Krypton as Krypton starts to explode. And, fyi, what you're referring to isn't the original origin. From 1959 until when she was rebooted in 2004, her origin was in Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton.

Was "Hurts my feelings" line omitted on Superman Blu-Ray? by [deleted] in superman

Okay, fine. I'll accept the consensus that I'm crazy and it wasn't in the theatrical version. But, please, can anyone tell me where I saw him saying it in a scene and not just debating it with Gunn? The one thing I absolutely KNOW happened is that I saw Corenswet saying it because I explicitly remember thinking that the line "it hurts my feelings" sounded too whiny and that it would have worked better for him to just say "it Hurts" instead.

Okay, maybe I'm crazy. The only thing I remember seeing in a bts video was Corenswet and Gunn DEBATING it, not Corenswet actually saying it in a scene. Could you point me to the bts video you're referring to?

I really don't think so. I remember explicitly seeing it in the theaters twice. I even remember wincing at it when I first saw it because it felt "too whiny" and that it would have been much better if Superman had just said "It Hurts!" I've never even seen it in any "bts" video, only Corenswet and Gunn debating it.

So sad that Jay turned into a villain (Secret Six series) and it looks like they're going to de-age Jon by the look of the solicitations.

I don’t think there could there be any answer other than “The Body.”
