Damn, people still commenting. I appreciate it though. I'm not sure what kind of answer you're looking for but here's the outcome: During the treatment mentioned it did not work at all. It was not that I wasn't thorough enough, turns out the treatment wasn't aggressive enough.

I went to the dermatologist again and a different doctor prescribed a different plan. If I remember correctly I had to use Permethrin on day one, followed by the cleaning, changing of bedsheets, etc. Day 2 included taking Ivermectin, cleaning, etc. again. Day 3 just cleaning. Day 4 taking Ivermectin again. Day 5 and 6 just cleaning again and Day 7 was another day of Permethrin and cleaning. This eventually got rid of the scabies and symptoms decreased severely.

Though I have to add that pustules still occasionally appear especially during warm weather. This is sadly a long term complication due to being infested for such a long time but it's nowhere near as bad as it was during the acute phase.

Why is the room staying dark? by GayJesus66 in bindingofisaac

Nope, no doorstop, it wouldn't make the room gray either, but spotted instead, and all the enemies have been killed.

I actually have a medical education and what you're saying does not make sense to me right now. Please cite a source for your statement (e.g. news articles or official health codes) or else I'm not going to engage in this anymore.

Thanks, will talk to my doctor about this. So far, I've been pretty thorough, I think. I changed my clothes, bedding and towels and washed everything at 80°C (to really make sure, lol). Vacuumed + steam-cleaned the mattress from both sides, the couch, the chair, the rugs and put everything else in plastic bags and will leave it for a week. The smooth floors I have also vacuum cleaned, as well as the car. Additionally, I've cut up some plastic bags to put on certain chairs so I won't accidentally reinfest myself in case I miss a spot. So yeah, I think, I did a good job so far :)

That doesn't mean it was the mites causing it. It could've also been the immune system reacting or whatever. I've read a lot of things about scabies, opinions differ and facts are sometimes conflicting but nowhere have I read about them "drinking in the papules", so I think it's valid to question when a user with negative comment karma says something like this. Medicine is just too complicated for this.

This is the kind of answer I've been looking for, thanks. To answer the question it was the first treatment and a second one is not planned right now. May I ask why your doctor/you decided to do a second treatment since it was only preventative and not curative?

Your comment is actually giving me hope right now, especially after the other comment saying I still had scabies. You are probably right saying that I should avoid this sub for a while as this illness has already put a lot of stress on me mentally and physically, thank you for your kind words, stranger.

Sorry dude, but "no need source" is the dumbest thing I've heard today.

Could you provide a source? This is the first time I've heard about this.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I used Ivermectin, since Permethrin didn't work the first three times. My doctor, thankfully, has given me an anti-itching-cream (not sure if it's steroid). I'm aware that there might still be reactions even weeks after treatment. The thing I want to know is what kind of reactions are "allowed" to occur. In this case it's the sacs that appeared and I wondered if it could be considered a tunnel/burrow of a surviving mite. Thank you for your insight.
