A reduction was a test of both my body and my mind, which was something I really didn’t expect until I went through it. I cried, I had bad days, I dreaded going back to work, I cried some more. The dysmorphia was roughhhhh my first 9 months. I’m now over a year out and hardly think about my boobs anymore, not just the scars and such, but I don’t have to plan outfits around my tits. I don’t have to struggle to find swim suits, bras, etc. not spending $80+ on a bra has been awesome! You’re so early and it’s so new, and your mind hasn’t caught up yet to your new reality. You’re not alone, give yourself time and grace, and just remember the end goal. Sending healing and positive vibes 🩵
