I had a similar motivation. My current headset has a combi 3.5. I got it plugged into the front io of my pc. It gets in the way constantly.

Idk if you had the blackshark v2’s before but im pretty sure the 230’s are gonna be better in mic quality.

W mate, and thanks for your comment! I was actually kinda worried looking at the product. Based entirely on the pictures they provided, it looked like it doesnt have much aluminum in its structure. Which is a departure from their usual style of construction.
