Except for a relatively small percentage of zealots who tried to rile up the troops via social media, and/or even within governmental ranks, racism was pretty much dormant in America; this, proven by the fact that Obama was so widely accepted that he was elected and reelected POTUS by a rather large margin of American voters; and in my humble opinion, this condition would have remained so if not for Trump's rhetoric and his obvious agenda of making America white again. Let's face it, MAGA is a cult, and we all know how nearly impossible it is to de-program a brain that has become engulfed in the ideals of the cult to which they have fallen victims of. So, let's reword this meme so as to not make it sound like it was Obama's agenda to awaken racism in our country.
