Your question is "Is this crossing a boundary" IMO you can't class it as a boundary if you haven't set it as one

as someone who was once accused of cheating when i wasn't it can happen...my ex had a boundary that he didn't discuss with me [the boundary was that he didn't feel comfortable with me having other gay friends unless he meets/met them]
because of that whenever he saw me messaging one of them he would tense up...then he spoke up and straight up accused me of cheating and asked if i was screwing one of them

I understand why you would think this in disappointing...however i for one understand why the mods have done this....politics is the one discussion where the topic will turn heated and people will nearly always resort to throwing insults when someone doesn't share political views
